Émélie LEDUC, Managing Director, DE-EN>FR

Having graduated with a degree from ITIRI (Institute of Translators, Interpreters and International Relations in Strasbourg) in 2006, Emélie is the founder and managing director of Multi Lingual Identity and her passion for the translation profession is just as strong today. Her humanity, management skills, amazing organisational ability, and ever-helpful advice make her the driving force behind the team. She particularly likes medical translations and those related to the world of sport.

Christelle BABOUR, EN-ES>FR

Having graduated with a degree from Cergy-Pontoise University in 2003, Christelle is our legal expert and an excellent point of reference for English>French translations. With a caustic sense of humour, she willingly takes charge in Emélie’s absence and remains our go-to person for all questions related to IT and our working environment.

Stéphanie BOSCO, DE-EN>FR

Having graduated with a degree from ETI (Faculty of Translation and Interpreting in Geneva) in 2001, Stéphanie brings her versatility and in-depth knowledge of the profession to the team. Capable of tackling all types of translations, from technical documents to marketing content, she knows how to master the French language with as much precision as style. Alongside Florine, she endeavours to redefine our internal writing conventions (grammar and typography rules, problems regarding the French language) as well as our guides to good practice for project management.

Damaris BOUTINON, DE-EN-IT>FR

Having graduated with a degree from CFTTR (University Centre for Translator-Localizers, Terminologists and Technical writers in Rennes) in 2008, Damaris particularly likes writing beautiful phrases and can sometimes spend hours looking for the perfect word or expression. Extremely professional and attentive to everyone’s needs, Damaris bends over backwards to ensure that clients are satisfied. She is our reference point for Italian and for fields that are as interesting as they are varied, such as musical instruments or tourism in South Tyrol, Italy. Within MLI, she is responsible for managing the pool of external translators who she supervises with care and kindness.

My main personality trait? I like everything to move forward quickly.
My main shortcoming? I don’t know how to say no…
My favourite pastime? Reading on my sofa with a good coffee and some chocolate cupcakes… or playing the violin or baking.
Which country would I like to live in? Saint-Malo, where I live, is the most beautiful place in the world in my eyes… but otherwise, I really liked South Tyrol in Italy. For me, a place where I can speak both German and Italian is close to perfection… unfortunately, the sea is missing…
My favourite famous person (fiction or non-fiction)? Victor Hugo
What do I hate the most? Tapioca
Which errors can I easily forgive? Carelessness… I am extremely scatterbrained myself.

Florine UMBRECHT-JENCK, DE-EN>FR

Having graduated with a degree in 2014 from ITIRI (Institute of Translators, Interpreters and International Relations in Strasbourg), Florine is interested in translations concerning new technologies, sustainable development, the environment, science, nature, etc. Always committed to doing a good job, she is conscientious, has a propensity to help and has shown her organisational skills by putting our internal documents into some kind of order… which was no mean feat!

My favourite pastime? Dancing, preferably the Lindy Hop, and doing yoga.
Which country would I like to live in? Portugal, Greece, but also India, Australia or Sweden; it’s difficult for me to choose.
What do I hate the most? Hypocrisy and intolerance

Laurane QUÉNARD, DE-EN>FR

Having graduated with a degree from ITIRI (Institute of Translators, Interpreters and International Relations in Strasbourg) in 2015, Laurane is our expert on cutting and machining tools. She combines a high degree of technical precision with a refined style which she knows how to adapt to the type of text to be translated. Demonstrating a high degree of professional awareness and proving to be very open-minded, she always makes herself available to lend a hand to the rest of the team.

Having graduated with a degree from ITIRI (Institute of Translators, Interpreters and International Relations in Strasbourg) in 2017, Julie is very diligent and looks after clients with the utmost care. Blessed with excellent editorial abilities, Julie is particularly fond of marketing texts, but also applies her specialist medical knowledge. Dynamic and willing, she lends her support to Damaris to manage and proofread projects from Italian.

Having graduated with a degree from ESIT (College of Interpreters and Translators in Paris) in 2017, Célestine loves travelling and is interested in all things cultural: theatre, poetry, public readings, journalism, etc. She brings to the team literary sensibility and excellent editorial qualities which prove invaluable when translating tourism texts, marketing leaflets and press releases.. Dynamic and willing, she lends her support to Damaris to manage and proofread projects from Italian.

My main personality trait? I am curious I can be passionate about black holes, German Romanticism or the production methods of tofu all at the same time…
